And at 930 I didn’t really feel like the healing was a challenge so much as a game of whack-a-mole with an added element of can you CC at the right time. The remaining challenges (classes/specs), that round out 36/36, I did much later in Veiled argunite gear (925-930), which heavily influences my opinion. I did the mage (the class/my main) challenges first in Nighthold gear. Then as follows: Sigryn, Agatha, Raest/Xylem, Shadowsong (Heals), and then Kruul. As for ranking the encounters themselves Tugar is hands down the easiest. Most of the other tanks have some sort of cheese for P2 of the encounter. I learned the encounter as prot pally so this probably reflects in my opinion. As for hardest skill wise I’d go Kruul on prot pally. Once I swapped to sephuzs I one shot the encounter. I tried doing it with my raiding gear set and kept hitting this weird gearing breakpoint where I’d kill all the little adds with blizzard without generating another frozen orb which left me starved for ice lance procs. If you can wear healing leggos, the final phase is a target dummy. I would save Paladin Tank challenge until last, just to look to boost that item level.ĭPS wise I found Frost Mage twins to be the hardest, and I found Agatha/Eye/Halls all about the same but easier than Twins, but Felltotem was easily the easiest. I found Paladin hit a gear point at which the Tank challenge became really easy, I'm sure at i900 it was the hardest by a long way, but as it gets much higher gear, the dps (in Tank) really escalates quickly. Personally I found Monk to be the hardest for tank and heals, but it was also quite low gear, compared to the other classes. I learnt on the Priest, and so spent maybe 3 hours on that one, but managed the others (not the Monk!) in one flask/hour. Having an interrupt was massive, but also just having damage stuns slows and speed for p1(the phase you spend the most time learning) was actually. I spent maybe 7 hours doing the Monk one as I just seemed to get every arrow in the knee and all forms of RNG (both for the Tank and the Healer). Healing challenge: I found resto shaman to be surprisingly well suited to the challenge at the time, I say surprisingly because at the time shaman was my least played class by a significant margin. The others were all within the first flask/hour.Ī couple of hours in the Healer one and maybe I've gotten to the end encounter 7 times, and maybe I've tried to master the first 5 minutes 10 times and the final encounter 4 times. I personally spent more than 2 hours on Druid and Monk, and got them in the 3rd hour. In my mind no doubt DPS is easier than either Tank or Heals, but in a couple of hours I could really get a large number of attempts on Kruul in and perfect the infernal smash dodge, and look for better add management.

I personally found the Healer one harder, quite simply due to the amount of time i spent on it compared to other challenges. To make the challenges a little easier for my alts, I got them some better gear, than when I did it on my main.
